Eyeko Visual Eyes Liquid Eyeliner Review

I'm aaalways looking for the perfect eyeliner, the finer the better, so it was time to try the "Visual Eyes Liquid Eyeliner" from Eyeko.

I ordered one and got one as a gift. Score I say!

Let's take a look at the tip

One fine tip with which you can draw really fine lines. :)

Before I talk about the performance here is something I found rather weird..

I mean it's good they're honest and I'm used to the fact that half of the stuff we consume and use is from Japan, but after making it in Japan they actually transport it to Korea to assemble it. A product from the UK. I mean I'm not the only one that finds that weird am I?

But now on to the perfomance. I am really pleased with the results, it makes super fine lines and lasts well.

Nevertheless, I didn't fall in love. I can't say why, the spark just didn't catch I guess. *gg* It's a good liner, handy and quick and all that, but I will go back to my Catrice one after that.

I bought it online and it's 16€. Do you own it? What do you think??

Love,
Valerie

Glossyboy - Britain Edition

I decided it's best to keep me busy, so I'll bury you under posts. :)

Finally, I find time to share the incredible great Great Britain Glossybox. There couldn't have been a better timing for this box as well - the arrival of Prince George.

Now on to some pictures. Okay, a lot of pictures:

I LOVE the design of this box, their boxes are always so pretty. I think I would have bought it just because of the box. *g*

So pretty...

Coin purse!

British Goodies

Betty Huka Body Butter in Rum & Blackcurrant

Steamcream All-in-One Natural Moisturiser for Face, Hands & Body

Mitchell and Peach Hand Cream

Nails Inc. Caviar Top Coat

Nailgirls in White

Batiste Dry Shampoo

Me Me Me Cherub's Cheek & Lip Tint

Eyeko Skinny Mini Brush Mascara

It's a solid mix between famous (well known here) and rather unknown brands from the UK. I love this box. It's just full of amazing stuff. Lately, Glossbox really is dead on with their boxes. Let's go a bit into detail:

Bettyhula Body Butter: I got the Blackcurrant one and it smells lovely. It's got a quite thick texture, but absorbs pretty fast - great combo. I used it yesterday and even with all the heat outside it absorbed before running down my legs like other body butters tend to do during summer.

Steamcream All-in-One Moisturiser: I haven't used it a lot so far, but it smells fresh and absorbs quickly. I'm a bit picky when it comes to face creams, but I'll definitely use it on my hands and body.

Mitchell and Peach Hand Cream: This hand cream is awesome, it absorbs so fast it's crazy! It's full of vitamin E, honey and essential oils. I love it.

Nails Inc. Caviar Top Coat: Haven't used it yet, but it's form Nails Inc., can't go much wrong.

Nailgirls London Nail Polish: I didn't know this brand, but I'm always open to try out new brands especially when they are from the UK. Looks pretty, but I think they could have gone for a more exciting shade. Nevertheless, nothing against basics. It was opaque after two coats.

Batiste Dry Shampoo: this is quite famous, I think even here most beauty fans know this product. I don't like dry shampoos, so I can't really say anything about it, but I heard only good stuff about it. I'll give it to my cousin and she'll tell me her experience.

Me Me Me Cheek and Lip Tint: I think this is an amazing product to try. I'm a bit of a chicken when it comes to tints on my cheeks, but it gives your lips a nice, natural, rosy tint. :)

Last but not least another highlight: Eyeko Skinny Mini Brush Mascara: What a famous item, can't wait to try it, but at the moment it's just too hot for make up.

Once more, in my humble opinion, I can only say I loooove this box. Every item is great, the dry shampoo is nothing for me, but I'm sure it's amazing for all of you who like dry shampoos.

Did you buy it? This time everyone seems to have gotten the same products in their boxes. I like that.

Eyeko polishmania

It might be obvious by now that I loooove nail polishes and when I saw the new polishes Eyeko is selling I couldn't resist. Especially when they offered the set with all of them for 10 pounds.

There are 5 new shades, I made a picture without and one with flash. The colour is more accurate on the first photo, but in the one with the flash you see more of the goregousness of Cosmic and Indigo polish.
Cosmic polish, Indigo polish, Purple polish, Lilac polish and Nude polish.

And here swatches:

How gorgeous are they?!!!

They are all very pretty and Cosmic and Indigo Polish are quite unique. I definitely would recommend them. 3 usual shades and two special shades for 10 pounds with free shipping worldwide is quite a deal. :-)

Hope you liked them!

Guinevere

Eyeko Haul

Some time ago I ordered from Eyeko, a make up bran from London, and took pictures for a post and totally forgot about them. So here they are:

Captured by the pretty packaging and some swatches I've seen online I ordered the nail polishes and the Eyeko Creme set, which includes the normal creme and the tinted one. I'm way to pale for the tinted version, but the set price was so awesome, dito the polishes, that I bought them anyway. And hey, I can use the cream for my clients. :-)

Let's start with the polishes:

Don't they look cute?? I love the packaging! Nevertheless, they are quite small, so I thought two comparison pics with other items might be useful.

Small I know, the lipstick suddenly looks huge! But for the price (4€) it's okay.
I made no swatches, because there are already many out there and my nails are unphotogenic. If you still want some, let me know.

Each of them contains 10ml product and they are nice to work with. They can get streaky, but personally mine were fine except the blue one - pastel polish -, the packaging had something already when I received them and now it's totally dried and I can't even open it anymore.. But I'll deal with this personal crisis later.. ;-)

Let's move on to the creme:

As said I bought the normal and the tinted one.Nice isn't it? I know, I know, what about the actual product, no need for fear, I got it covered:

The creme feels very light and goes on smoothly, which I absolutely love. I hate it when you put on a creme and it feels so heavy that one gets the feeling the skin can't breathe anymore. Not with this.

In the picture the cremes look very dark, but on the skin they just blend in.

Here you see how it looks like, unblended, that might silence any questions or fears.
I really do like the creme as a base for my foundation, it's light and reflects the light subtle and lets you glow in a nice way. It doesn't have a distinctive smell and contains 28ml. For 7€ it leaves nothing to be desired.

My overall opinion: I really do like the products, the polishes are soooo cute and the creme is versatile and provides a glowing base without feeling like you wear anything. And the best: they ship worldwide for FREE. I mean, hello, what are you waiting for! ;-) In fact, the polishes are limited edition, so if you want them, get them now!
