Heaven

So it happened. The worst that can happen, my cat died. Not too long ago we lost Chloe and now Heaven joined her..

Right now I'm in some sort of shock bubble that conveniently vanishes when I try to sleep and I truly feel how empty our bed is. I always figured we have 15 years with our cats, but out of four only two are left now..

But this is post is about Heaven and how much I love her. Here are some pictures to honor her beauty and memory.

Another loss and another reminder that life can end at any moment and we should be grateful for everything we have. So two of my babies are now in heaven waiting for me. I will see you one day again, I'm sure of it.

Thank you for every second babies. I miss you.

Emma and the Big Wide World

I thought you might be curious how's Emma doing. It's been almost two weeks now and she's making progress every day.

We're still far away from taking our first walk, but she's walking around the house with more confidence every day, eats well and tried the stairs for the first time.

Some pictures.

My parents gave this garden gnome to us as a prank, we are definitely not garden gnome people and while we aren't big fans, the pets love him, so he stays... *gg*

Isn't she precious?

Emma

This week my blog has been quite quiet and there's a reason. On Monday night, we heard about a 4 months old puppy that has been living her whole life in a barn without much contact to the world, desperately needing to be saved.

Being the person that I am I couldn't ignore it and so we drove the one hour to her location and got her. She was full of dirt and has a slight eye infection, but she's still so shy that I don't dare to take her somewhere.

We named her Emma and she is adorable, but utterly damaged. She is scared of everything and has lived outdoors only. :(

We're making baby steps every day, but it's not easy. She barely walks when she's in the house and getting her inside after she's been to the garden is an almost impossible job when you're alone. It's so hard to see such an innocent baby being so damaged, knowing that there went everything wrong so far in her short life..

She's doing well with the other pets, especially Kronos is a guide for her. He was surprisingly okay with her coming into our lives. Here she is.

I don't know if I find time to blog again this week. I'll talk to you soon.

Sunny Sunday

Today was a really beautiful day. Sunshine, no harsh wind, just nice.

The cats and Kronos enjoyed the garden

I hope you had a lovely Sunday and are rested to face a new week!

New Hair Colour, Icy Streets, University Craziness, IKEA Shopping, Candles and Pets or My Week

I can't believe the holidays are already over, the week past way too quickly. I wanted to share some photos of what happened that week with you. :)

I dyed my hair a few days ago, I want them to become lighter, maybe one day a dark blonde. I'm not sure it will suit me, to be honest I really doubt it, but I want to try it once.

It's two shades lighter now and finally one colour again. *gg* So, what do you think???

Last week lower Austria had to fight extreme ice. It was crazy, I never saw anything like it. It was like ice-skating everwhere you (tried to) walk.

Oh and to top it off we had some fog too. Reminded me of Scotland. *g*

I finally had to change my name at Uni this week and boy I wasn't alone.. I thought during the semester not that many students would enroll at Uni, I was wrong!

We remade our bedroom, still in progress, but I think it looks cool. That black stack on the left are all my MAC palettes *gg*:

My parents were in Malta this week and brought me this lovely gift, most of you know by now that my name isn't Guinevere (sadly *gg) - it's Valerie.

This week I emptied my beloved Origins "Make a Difference Plus+". What a sad thing to happen..

To round up this post, some photos of my lovely animals who couldn't care less about any of what happened.

I hope you had a good week, tomorrow school starts again. I hope my pupils are well rested. I have a lot of beauty posts coming up, stay tuned!

Look of the Day - Nature Edition

This week was incredible uneventful. I was mainly battling this wicked flu and it's still not completely over.. If I'd be a battery I'd be 80% charged.. So, I was trying to find something to post and I did. lol

Today I took my first walk with Kronos for over a week now and thought you sure wanna see the stylish outfits we wore.

While I was sporting sexy wellies..

Kronos went for four classy black fur paws.. *gg*

..as accessories he chose a long rose coloured tongue paired with a blue leash.

Sadly, those fashion items were LE, but I'm sure we were able to fill your daily need for hot outfits. ;-)

Saving Money Fressnapf Style

We finally have an Internet connection again, so I'll vlog and blog you to death. :-)

This has nothing to do with beauty, but it was such a crazy coincidence I have to share it. *gg* Last week I went to our closest Fressnapf, a pet supply store. It's in Horn and was recently reopened.

I was there to get Kronos favorite chewing bones, when the saleswoman told me they are currently having some dog stuff on sale, I went out and couldn't believe my eyes. Everything for 1€. I basically got all the good stuff they had.

So I ended up with this huge amount of stuff.

Aristoteles immediately had to check if there's something interesting for him:

I wanted to buy some Agility stuff for ages, but never did, because it's so expensive, but for 10€ each, hell yeah!!

The bill was quite unique:

I payed 97€ and saved over 411€!!!I mean how freaking incredible is that?

If we have a Blackout tomorrow Kronos will definitely live longest. *g*

Fall is here..

Fall finally reached us, at least in Retz. A few impressions of my last walk with Kronos. I love fog. :-)

Kronos loves it too.

What's your favorite season??
