Sleek Palettes

My Sleek order arrived yesterday and I gotta say I am a little confused.. The order was fine and everything, what did confuse me was the size.. I ordered two of their famous palettes: the acid one, which is permanent and the new limited circus one.

I know my visual thinking isn't the best, but I thought these were larger than that:

I mean look at them, they are almost as small as my i phone..

Colourwise they look promising:

So my question is - does any of you own Sleek palettes? Am I imagining it or were they larger? I was so sure they would be. I'm curious to hear from you.

Water make up look

I'm sick again.. The day I was born god must have been really pissed. Not only did he bless me with all the diseases my family had to offer, he also decided that I don't need a working immune system.. I mean why would I need one.. I'm so selfish, bad Guinevere..

Okay, enough with the rant, I'm just annoyed with myself. Before I got sick again I did this look:

MAC Longwear & Fabulous Felines Haul

It's the first of the month, so where was I? At MAC, what a surprise.. *g*

I got myself some items. Here they are:

I needed a brush cleanser, no fear it is permanent *g*

Longwear concealer in NW15

Longwear lipstick: Unlimited

Superslick eye liners: pure show and treat me nice

Dazzle Lipstick: Liquid Lurex

With the Longwear items, there is no hurry - they are permanent now and I know that Liquid Lurex was already released with the other Dazzle Lipsticks, I just never bought it, but couldn't stop thinking of it either.. *g*

Let's start with Fabulous Felines:

I like them. My MAC girls promised me those won't disappoint like the Penultimate liner, so I hope that is right. From swatches I did on my hand the result is great, which you will see at the end of the post.

Next the lovely strangeness which is Liquid Lurex:

I adore this, smooth and glittery. Swatches at the end as well.

Longwear Products:

My Moisturecover is almost empty, so I took a closer look at this little guy and whooo - such a silky, light texture. It has a pump which needs a careful hand, you need very little to cover up.

I had to get it - I will make a review about it when I used it several times. :-)

Unlimited is a beautiful old rose tone with a great coverage. It feels utterly soft on the lips. I tested all of them and had some tough stains to remove. When I've worn it longer than a few minutes I will tell you what I think in detail. :-)

New York Gifts

Today my sister came back from her trip to NYC. I couldn't resist giving her a little wishlist.. *g* And she got everything I wanted. I kept the list to a minimum and quite simple. She's not that into make up.

Here are my things:

The new Rolling Stones magazine with the True Blood cast on the cover, the Tokidoki brush set!!! and my beloved Certain Dri anti-perspirants.

While there is not much to say about the magazine (I love True Blood) and the anti-perspirants (best ever) I can show you a billion pics of the Tokidoki brushes.

I'm a huge Tokidoki fan and so I really needed to have those..

I doubt that I will be able to use them, they are too pretty to get dirty. The bristles feel super soft. The only "negative" thing I noticed is that the crease and eyeshadow brush are quite big. Especially the crease brush would be too large for my crease. But other than that they are perfect!

Twilight Nail Polish!!!!!!!!

I say it right away - I'm a huuugee twilight nerd and I'm totally okay with that. Breaking Dawn is my favorite of the four and I read it at least six times.

So I always wanted to get my hands on the official Twilight Make Up. Just to have it and when I just saw these I almost started to cry..

It is sooooooooooooooooo unfair that they don't ship internationally.. I can't even say how badly I want them..

I know the post isn't that exciting, I just had to share my pain with someone..
