Review: Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Liner

Hello lovelies,

I got this a little while back and now it's review-time!

The Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliners come in seven colours and cost 10,99€ each. So much for the hard facts. :-)

I got "Ultra Violet" and besides the liner you get a brush as well:

I must admit I didn't use it, cause it seemed too "big". I usually use finer liners.

Let's see swatches:

Not a perfect covered line? Yep, well, there's the catch, we'll talk about it in a sec.

I think it's a fine product, but you really have to be careful how much you put on your lid. The first time I wore it, I really put on colour to get a lovely full-of-colour line....and ended up with a big imprint of that line on my lid..

The next time I used it, the swatch you see above, I REALLY tried to avoid every excess product which unfortunately ended up with this uneven line. Nevertheless, that way it did last and stayed put.

So that's that. In theory, this is a lovely liner, but with that tendency to imprints I'm not perfectly happy with it. Did you try them?

Christmas Momijis!

These two lovely dolls just went online. Gosh, they are adorable. Each doll limited to 750 pieces.

If you wanna get them better be quick! *click* They aren't cheap thought.. 22€ per doll and I had to pay 9,95€ for shipping.. But from time to time I think one can treat oneself.

Ida the Hedgehog

We have a new family member. :-) She's the cutest little thing in the world!

That's her new home. I just thought about the appropriate size for our hedgehog and so I ended with this huge thing. 150x80x80.. At the moment it's at my parents place, cause it's so huge I don't know where to put it.. *gg*

Having a hedgehog was a dream of mine ever since I first saw them in 2010 at the Vienna Haustiermesse. Right now she's still very shy, but I hope she will get more active soon.

The African hedgehog has not much to do with our European hedgehogs, so no comments about inappropriate conditions for her. She's safe and sound and in a home full of love. :-)

Review: L'Oréal Volume Million Lashes Excess Mascara

I got this a little while back and now it's time to talk about it.

This pretty mascara is the follower of the Volume Million Lashes mascara, which I adore and reviewed here: *click*

Let's look at the brush:

Now some swatches, these are three coats:

As you can see, that's a pretty awesome result. 

I really, really like it, the only thing is that at the third coat it's hard to avoid claggy lashes and that's something I hate. If you're careful you can manage that easily though. 

In a nutshell, that mascara is an amazing product and definitely worth getting. What's your favorite mascara??

Review: Essence Breaking Dawn II Pigments

Another week too busy to blog. So I'm gonna prepare a ton of posts, so there isn't such silence during the week.

Today, I wanna show you how crappy the Essence "Breaking Dawn II" pigments are. I never would have thought they are that disappointing, especially since the permanent ones are really nice!

Here are the three I bought. I'm gonna be honest with you, I forgot their names and since I was able to return them, I don't have them anymore, but I'm sure it will be okay for you:

Let's see some evidence why I was disappointed.

I know what you think, what do you mean? I'll show you.

I tried to get anything to make that gold show up, but it was futile..

The other two ended up showing some colour, but I think I had to use 6 coats to get that uneven result:

Sparkly Green

I was on the go, but I wanted to show you this simple, but still extravagant make up. It's one of Collection 2000's glitter liners which are amazing. So crazily pigmented!
