False Lash Schmetterling Mascara

Today, I have one of my absolute new favorites for you! The "False Lash Schmetterling" mascara. A mascara I've been waiting for forever. Let's look at it:

And here comes the magic - the brush! It doesn't have the usual brush shape. On one side the last part of the brush is elongated and on the other side you have a round shape.

Some swatches:

You can see it best in the picture below. Every lash is coated with mascara, every! The shape of the brush makes it easy to get the lashes all the back without clumping and the round shape makes it great to get all the lower lashes.

I just love this mascara! It is perfect.

I always wanted a mascara with such a shape and now it's finally here. It does everything you want a mascara to do, it coats your lashes, all of them, seperates lovely and gives them length.

If you are looking for a new mascara, get this one! I can't imagine you wouldn't like it. I definitely love it. I hope they make a waterproof version soon so I can wear it on my wedding day. *g*

Review: Maybelline Super Stay 24H

Maybelline released a new powder, the "Super Stay 24H Waterproof Powder". So far, I only used the Mineralize Powders from MAC to set my foundation. With my redness wearing just a powder always feels like it won't be enough over the day. So this was definitely something new for me.

Before I review it: Let's take a closer look:

It adapted perfectly to my skintone. :-)

Just wearing some concealer on my under eye area, the too carelessly applied "Garnier BB Cream Eye Roll-On" to be exact and the powder:

At the end of the day, not bad for just a powder

My thoughts:

It did last very well and has some coverage, I wouldn't trust it to conceal dark shadows or red spots, but it certainly evens out your skintone. I'm quite lucky with my skin, so the powder didn't have a lot to cover, but I really liked it. It didn't sit on my skin, it blended in and gave it a finish.

Now, I usually use it after I concealed my redness and dark circles. I just put it on and am ready to go. So, if you're looking for something like that, you can't go wrong with this powder.

Review: Lush Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter

I got a sample of this months ago when I was sale shopping their christmas products. I had "Lemony Flutter" before, but couldn't really remember how it was. Only that I hardly used it and then it was already dried out. Nevertheless, I wanted to give it another shot, cause my cuticles look so bad.

Well, I'll put it short. This cuticle butter is AMAZING. My cuticles who always look horrible and dry transformed into neat looking ones, like they've been pretty all my life. Crazy!

So neat! I love it.

Sorry for the dark pictures, the light has been a bitch thanks to our crappy weather..

It doesn't look quite spectacular, a pale yellow paste.

You only need tiny amounts of it. I use it every night before I go to sleep and when I wake up I have my gorgeous looking cuticles. That combined with my pretty and natural looking gel nails makes me think I can finally say that my hands are really presentable.

The normal jar has 50g in it which seems like a lot considering I've used this sample for months and still have enough. Lush says you can use it everywhere, so I might try it as feet butter as well when I buy it.

All in all, if you've lost hope that you'll ever get beautiful cuticles, don't despair this is our rescue! I don't think I'll ever stop using this product.

Review: Wilkinson Intuition Dry Skin

A week ago, this surprised me in the mail. How exciting! I never bought such a fancy shaver, so I couldn't wait to try it.

It even comes with an attachment for your shower :-)

So how does it work? You don't need any shaving gel, just get your legs wet and you can start. This big white block around the shaver is a solid conditioner made out of coconut and almond oil.

So how was it?

It was amazing. It didn't feel like I was shaving my legs, it felt like I gave them a conditioning treatment! My legs were not only completely smooth, they also felt like I just applied body lotion.

This product is a full success you could say, but it comes with one downside and this was the reason I never bought one of these before - the price tag..

The shaver itself, like you see it above, costs 8,69€ which isn't bad, but the conditioning thing will be gone one day and the refill package with three of those gorgeous shave heads costs incredible 12,49€.. Personally, I think that's quite a lot.

So, I guess you have to decide if this luxury is worth it. I will enjoy every time I can use it, but after that I'll resume stealing my boyfriends razor and use it with plain shaving gel. *g*

L'Oréal Paris Wild Ombrés Préférence Highlights

L'Oréal released something pretty cool - a DIY ombré hair dye. The ombré style is quite trendy at the moment, so this is right up your alley if you wanna try it.

I got this two weeks ago and look at it every single day, but can't get myself to do it. I'm sure it works great, but I'm getting married and I think for now I wanna keep my hair colour classic.

Nevertheless, I wanted to show you how it would work and the tools you get to achieve that look. So here we go:

Quite an amount of items:

Tool kit:

So, what do you think? Something you would try? Do you have the ombré hair style?

Biotherm Eau D'Énergie

Yesterday, we went to Excaibur City and look what found its way in my bag..

I had a voucher for 33% off of any product, so I got this beauty for 22,77€. Half of the normal price. What a steal!

I wanted this for ages, the perfect smelling "Eau D'Énergie". A mix of fruity scents such as mandarines and lemons. Since it is a body mist it's not very strong and vanishes quickly, which is kinda sad, but it also avoids the usual headaches I get when using perfumes.

I love it, do you know it?

NOTD

Actually, I'm not sure if this is still available, cause I got it out of one of those reduced items boxes, but if so: here's the beautiful "Oh My Glitter!"

It's so pretty!
