Nail Polish Heaven

Hello lovelies,

It's been a while, but here I am. How do you like the new banner? I think it's finally what I wanted.

But now on to this post. Since we moved into our new/old home we've been renovating like crazy. It's not completely by choice, a house built in the 30's is bound to need more than a fresh coat of paint after 70 years.

So even if we've moved in over a year ago, the wall I needed for my nail polish heaven was only finished a couple of weeks ago.

But without further ado here it is and it is PERFECT.

This time I sorted them by brand, everything else was too complicated. *gg*

It even has its own light!

Isn't it perfect?! I absolutely love it, the only "problem" is that it's already full.. *gg* My dad made it for me and I hope he will do one more. :-)

What do you think? Isn't it the greatest thing ever built?

Love,
Valerie

Nail Polish Organization Porn

Here it is, the most amazing wall display ever made in history. It holds all my polishes, almost.. lol.

It perfectly harmonizes with our oven.

What do you think? Could this be more gorgeous?

I already put in another "order". *gg*

New Nail Polish Display!!

I know everyone thinks their dad is the best in the world, but mine wins hands-down! With the growing of my collection my old nail polish displays got too small, so I asked my dad if he could make me a bigger one.

He is incredibly talented when it comes to architecture and building things. I expected something simple and would have been totally happy with it, but he made a masterpiece out of it. I mean look at it:

It's incredible. I love it!

Since we sorta moved and are mostly in Retz now, I want it to be there and not in Vienna where it's right now. It's huge, so it's not so easy to move it, but I'll show you pictures as soon as it hangs on the wall and is full of nail polishes.

What do you think? Isn't it the most awesome nail polish display you've ever seen? Thank you dad, you're the best!!

Love,
Guinevere

Updated Nail Polish Wall Displays

The last couple of days I cleaned and redid my polish racks, cause many new colours wanted to get their place.. *g*

Unfortunately, there is not enough space any more.. So for now every colour after silver is waiting on the floor. I wish I could order new ones, but at the moment magnonails don't carry them.. :-(

Nail Polish Orgnisation

You remember my nail polish wall displays? *click* By now all three are completely full *gg* and as soon as I have the money, I'll order some more, you know just to be sure. ;-)

Since I desperately wanted a tiny one for my nail polish treatments/base-top coats, I decided I can't wait any longer, so I bought this a couple of days ago at MW Nails in Hernalser Hauptstraße, a nail design supplies store.

A perfect fit, right??

I really like that store. They even have a wall display, but it's smaller (about 50 polishes) and much more expensive. However, that little nail polish stairway was perfect and the 8,50€ were bearable.
It now stands right beside my desk.

Updated Nail Polish Organisation

I changed my organisation scheme. The colours are now all after each other. What do you think?

I prefer it that way. :-)

My Nail Polish Storage System

I FINALLY found the nail polish wall displays!!!!!!!

I've seen them already once 3 years ago on http://www.magnonails.de/ , yes 3 freaking years, but exactly at the time when I wanted to order them they were discontinued.

I was devastated. But I kept looking on their homepage from time to time, just if they might came back and they did!!!!!!!!

So a few weeks ago I ordered three to make sure that I have enough. One large display officially fits about 90 polishes, depending on the size of the polishes. Since I don't own only OPI polishes, mine hold more than 100. :-)Each costs 32,99€ which I think is a good price :-)

And here they are:

The pic without the flash is lighter and nicer to look at, but the one with flash is definitely more colour accurate.

The third one is already put up and ready to be filled :-)

Aren't those gorgeous??

Guinevere
