Review: she-stylzone "All-in-one" Mascara

Hi guys,

Today I wanna show you the mascara I'm recently using. It's great and besides that it's ridiculously affordable.

So which is it - it's from DM's own brand s-he stylezone and named "all in one volume & ultimate length mascara". Let's take a look:

It has quite a big brush, but it's not overpowering, so you make a huge mess every time you use it. Believe me I would know, I tend to make a mess. *gg*

How does it look on the eyes??

Well, hello there! Am I right?? *gg*

It lasts all day and I've been using it for months now and it still works flawless. Back to the best part besides all that - the price. It's 3,95€.

Mascaras are products that spoil after some time and need to be exchanged reguarly , so spending 40 bucks on it hurts my wallet. This one doesn't and still does a great job.

What more is there do say. :-)

Love,
Valerie

Review: L'Oréal Mega Volume Miss Manga Mascara

I've been curious about this mascara for ages, so I was super excited when I found this in my mail. :) Let's take a look before we talk about it

Swatches!

Not bad, right? :)

Let's keep it simple as always:

I'm really happy with this one. The first coat seperated the lashes perfectly. When you put more on, this above is two coats it gets a bit more spidery, but still not too clumpy. A great mascara. :)

Review: Maybelline Rocket Volum'Express Waterproof Mascara

May is definitely not my month. Time is running away and it feels like I'm always one step behind..  I wish I'd be one of our pets. How simple life would be. Her for example:

Back to reality. Finally, I'm finding time to write posts again. :-)

Today I have a mascara review for you - a really good one. It's about Maybelline's new Waterproof Rocket Volum'Express mascara.

I'll keep it simple as always - It's great. It lenghtens, gives you volume and doesn't move all day. In addition, it's one of the few waterproof mascara that don't dry out your lashes.

Swatches:

Two coats on the upper lashes and only one on the bottom lashes:

I think I found the mascara I'll wear on my wedding day. :-)

Guinevere

Review: Origins GinZing Mascara

Origins stopped selling their make up in Austria a little while back, until now. They released a new mascara. The "GinZing" mascara. Another item of the GinZing series. :-)

I was a little intimitated when I saw the brush. It's huuuuge.

What Origins says about it:

"100% visible boost in lushness & lift - Go from wimpy to whoa with Nature's lash-boosting pro. In an instant, the mega-plush brush sweeps up, fans out & delivers a powerful formula with eye-opening Carnauba Palm to every last lash. The result: soft, long, lush lashes that never look spiky, brittle or clumpy."

What do I say?

I didn't expect much to be honest, but I absolutely love it! It curls, lengthens and stays put. It's not waterproof, but it persisted some serious tears of laughter. *g* Definitely a new favorite of mine. I can totally recommend it!

Guinevere

L'Oréal L'Or Sunset Cannes Collection

L'Oréal is once more the official Make Up Artist of the Cannes Film Festival. I wish I was on their crew, how cool would that be?!

In celebration of this L'Oréal released two limited products playing with the golden, sparkling transition of night and day. A limited version of my beloved Volume Million mascara and an eyeshadow quad.

Let's take a look at those beauties:

The mascara - a black mixed with fine golden particles

..and the quad full of sparkling shades of the night.

Swatch Time!

I already used both in a look which I'll show you tomorrow, so I can say a few words about their performance.

I love the Volume Million Lashes mascara series and this one is just as awesome as the others. I reviewed it here *click* and here *click*. About this version: you can see the tiny golden particles on the mascara wand, but not on the lashes. At least not on mine.

The eyeshadows are a bit tricky. The golden glitter particles are a bit chunky which makes the shadows crumbly. I expected a lot of fall out (and you definitely need to tap of the excess product) but it was no problem at all. It worked great and the shadows have great pigmentation.

A great duo, so if you fell in love, they should be available in a couple of days, but be quick. They are limited edition.

Guinevere

False Lash Schmetterling Mascara

Today, I have one of my absolute new favorites for you! The "False Lash Schmetterling" mascara. A mascara I've been waiting for forever. Let's look at it:

And here comes the magic - the brush! It doesn't have the usual brush shape. On one side the last part of the brush is elongated and on the other side you have a round shape.

Some swatches:

You can see it best in the picture below. Every lash is coated with mascara, every! The shape of the brush makes it easy to get the lashes all the back without clumping and the round shape makes it great to get all the lower lashes.

I just love this mascara! It is perfect.

I always wanted a mascara with such a shape and now it's finally here. It does everything you want a mascara to do, it coats your lashes, all of them, seperates lovely and gives them length.

If you are looking for a new mascara, get this one! I can't imagine you wouldn't like it. I definitely love it. I hope they make a waterproof version soon so I can wear it on my wedding day. *g*

Review: L'Oréal Volume Million Lashes Excess Mascara

I got this a little while back and now it's time to talk about it.

This pretty mascara is the follower of the Volume Million Lashes mascara, which I adore and reviewed here: *click*

Let's look at the brush:

Now some swatches, these are three coats:

As you can see, that's a pretty awesome result.

I really, really like it, the only thing is that at the third coat it's hard to avoid claggy lashes and that's something I hate. If you're careful you can manage that easily though.

In a nutshell, that mascara is an amazing product and definitely worth getting. What's your favorite mascara??

Guinevere

Review: L'Oréal Volume Million Lashes

I used it for quite a while now and so it was time to talk about it. :-)

The brush is on the bigger side, but not huge. I don't like mascara wands that are bigger than your eyes..

So how is it?

Let's take a closer look. By the way, I plucked that stray hair as soon as I saw the pictures. *gg*:

Nothing on:

One coat on the upper lashes:

Two coats and one on the lower lashes:

Third coat and two on the lower lashes:

What do I think?

I love it! It lengthens lovely and seperates the lashes perfectly. I hate it when lashes stick together like spider legs. This one doesn't. :-) I definitely can recommend it.

Have you tried it?

Love,
Guinevere
