Misslyn Nail Smoothies

Today I have a beautiful nail polish for you. Last week while strolling through Müller I saw the new collection from Misslyn "Forbidden Fruits".

What intrigued me the most were the "smoothie" finish polishes. I ended up taking "sweet blackberry" home and I love it. It's an incredible beautiful colour. See for yourself:

I mean LOOK at that beauty! There is some texture in it, but without feeling or being gritty like sand polishes usually are.

I absolutely adore it. :)

Sothys Spring Summer Collection 2015

It's March can you believe it?? And while here in Austria we're still drowning in bad weather our beloved brands are giving us a piece of Summer.

Sothys is one of them and recently released their Summer collection. Let's take a look.

Let's start with the two eyeshadows.

Here we have "Bronze nacré", a lovely chocolaty-hazel tone. It's not much of a catch in the pan, but god it looks goregous on the eyes.

The other one named "Sable fine" is a nice shimmery highlighter colour, but it doesn't really stand out.

We also get a lovely trio blush named "enlumi-neur", the colour pay off is not overwhelming. I was quite disappointed when I swatched it on my hand, BUT when I loaded it on my brush - concinved that not much will happen - I ended up with such a pink cheek I had to whip out my make up remover. *gg*
So what I learned from this product, it's not a fan of hands, but if you use a brush you will get a lovely result.

It's summer so you need a bronzer, simply named "poudre soleil". It has a golden overspray, but underneath is a nice bronzer you can also use to contour.

There are also two dewy lipsticks. They have a fruity scent and go on smoothly and are hydrating.

"Corail Vivienne"

and "beige Garibaldi"

Last but not least there are two summery nail polishes for the beach. "Rouge grenadine" and "orange exotique." Haven't tried those two, but I will. :)

On to the swatches :-)

Bronzer and the blush trio, the seperate colours and below a little swirl. As you can see. the blush didn't like being swatched.

Here we have out two eyeshadows, on the right is the lovely bronze nacré, which I adore!

Lipsticks! The coral shade is especially gorgeous.

Here is a look with all the products. Okay I only used "corail Vivienne" on the lips in this one. ;-)

I'm really happy with this collection. I wore it all of last week and always enjoyed it. :) It's summery, dewy, but without drowning you in sparkle. Here is a link to the locations where you can get the products - *click*.

Eyeko Visual Eyes Liquid Eyeliner Review

I'm aaalways looking for the perfect eyeliner, the finer the better, so it was time to try the "Visual Eyes Liquid Eyeliner" from Eyeko.

I ordered one and got one as a gift. Score I say!

Let's take a look at the tip

One fine tip with which you can draw really fine lines. :)

Before I talk about the performance here is something I found rather weird..

I mean it's good they're honest and I'm used to the fact that half of the stuff we consume and use is from Japan, but after making it in Japan they actually transport it to Korea to assemble it. A product from the UK. I mean I'm not the only one that finds that weird am I?

But now on to the perfomance. I am really pleased with the results, it makes super fine lines and lasts well.

Nevertheless, I didn't fall in love. I can't say why, the spark just didn't catch I guess. *gg* It's a good liner, handy and quick and all that, but I will go back to my Catrice one after that.

I bought it online and it's 16€. Do you own it? What do you think??

Valerie

Review: she-stylzone "All-in-one" Mascara

Hi guys,

Today I wanna show you the mascara I'm recently using. It's great and besides that it's ridiculously affordable.

So which is it - it's from DM's own brand s-he stylezone and named "all in one volume & ultimate length mascara". Let's take a look:

It has quite a big brush, but it's not overpowering, so you make a huge mess every time you use it. Believe me I would know, I tend to make a mess. *gg*

How does it look on the eyes??

Well, hello there! Am I right?? *gg*

It lasts all day and I've been using it for months now and it still works flawless. Back to the best part besides all that - the price. It's 3,95€.

Mascaras are products that spoil after some time and need to be exchanged reguarly , so spending 40 bucks on it hurts my wallet. This one doesn't and still does a great job.

What more is there do say. :-)

Valerie

Sleek Eye & Cheek Palette "Dancing til Dusk"

I got this little baby for christmas and had to show it to you. :-) There are two palettes available and mine is named "Dancing til Dusk".

You have two blushes, a muted orange and a blue toned shimmery pink and four nice neutral brown eyeshadows.

There's also a brush and an applicator, but I never use those. For a quick fix on the go these still might be enough though.

Swaaaatch time. All swatched beautifully and I had no fallout.

Lovely, right? I'm really happy with this palette. My mum got it via Amazon for 12€ which I think is definitely a fair price. :)

What do you think??

NOTD

To defy that depressing weather I went for a sparkling colour - China Glaze's "Atlantis".

It's such a gorgeous shade, but sadly mine's already thicker than honey..

What are you wearing on your nails today??
