Review: L'Oréal Ever Pure Shampoo & Conditioner

I got these about ten days ago, right after I started testing the Lee Stafford Argan Oil series I bought in London, but I tried it anyway and it blew me away!!

Those two are soooo awesome, I love them!

Let's go into detail, they are sulfate free and for coloured, dry hair. My hair hasn't been dyed in a long time, but who cares. It makes it shiny and feeling lovely. That's all you can ask of a shampoo and conditioner.

Another thing that makes it my favourite is the scent. It smells soooo fresh, infused with botanical rosemary and juniper oils. It also smells minty on my opinion. It's a pleasure to use it. In addition, you don't need much product to get a lovely amount of foam. Something I need to make my hair feel cleaned.

So, all in all: I love those two, I'm definitely gonna repurchase them. If you are looking for a new shampoo/conditioner, try these. If you like such a scent you won't regret it.

Guinevere

Inglot AMC Glosses Swatches & Review

I wanted to show you my Inglot holo glosses, which are one of their famous products. And they are simply gorgeous!

I own three of them:
Top to bottom: 542, 543, 546

Now to the really gorgeous swatches:

Again top to bottom:
542, 543, 546

Some excess gloss on the inside of the tube, I mean LOOK at that effect:

One has to say that the effect is muted on the lips, cause of your natural lip colour, but you can still see it a bit when you shift around and move your lips.

They are non-sticky and have a nice scent, which I don't know how to describe. *gg*

Well, I'm sure I don't need to say it after those pics, but they rock!

Got any?

Guinevere

Inglot 10% off Offer!

Don't forget my lovelies, from today on until Saturday, the Inglot store at Donauzentrum has a 10% off everything offer. :-)

I wish I had some money to spare, but I'm pretty sure after buying the Marilyn Monroe items I "need" I'm broke. *gg*

Marilyn Monroe Preview Night

This is going to be short, really short.. I was exactly 20 seconds in that store and then left, cause it was so overcrowded and they had only one freaking display!!

Let's show you that insanity:

See the display down there? I had to stand on my toes and photograph over my head to get that picture..

I decided I can wait til Monday. Did you wait and get something?

Storing Medication: The Cool Way

This has nothing to do with beauty per se, nevertheless, I wanted to post it, cause it's a topic that's very important for me.

I do have several severe chronical illnesses. They are a part of me and I'm not ashamed of them.

I'm not gonna list what I have today. It's quite difficult, cause it's so much and I'm always worried that people think I just want their pity. It always ends like that, even though it's unmeant.

I've been looking for a pill box that doesn't look like I'm 80 or in a hospital for ages. A couple of days ago I found it and I wanted to show it to you, cause it's so cool and maybe you're looking for something like that too.

Here it is:

How cool, right? A keyboard!

You can open each day seperately and there's a lot of space!

I do need to take 8 pills each day to stay "healthy", though I'll never be healthy, so let's just say alive. So, you can image that I was worried that all the pills would fit in..

And they did!! How awesome is that?!

So, here we go. The full glory. ;-)

It wasn't a bargain. It cost 9,90€, but I think it's totally worth it. If you need one as well, I bought it at the SCS, on the first floor right at the beginning next to the IKEA entrance on the left side. Pretty cool, right?

INGLOT arrived!

Hey my dear ones,

This is a long post, so get some coffee ;-)

I'm sure you've already heard about it, but one can't see enough pictures.

INGLOT arrived in Vienna! Finally, I'm so excited!! MAC just got some serious competition.. It's such a pleasure to see all those big, amazing brands coming to us.

Before I'll talk a little about it, here some pictures:

Lashes, as far as the eye can see:

Pretty sure you'll find your skin tone down there:

Brusheeeess:

Square eyeshadows are coming, but later more:

Professional through and through:

The famous (and freaking awesome) Freedom System:

Some stuff for the professionals (love it):

I died a little..

Well, as you can see this store has everything a beauty lover needs. I'm sure you could go in without one single beauty product and leave with everything you'll ever need. *g*

This store is at Vienna's Donauzentrum and won't be the only one. :-)

There are stores planned in Linz and Salzburg and (if I remember correctly) one in the new shopping center G3 in Gerasdorf which will open soon including a Primark. (jumping-around-a-little)

The prices are reasonable. I'm sure you all know their freedom system in which you choose an empty palette and fill it with products such as eyeshadows, but powders and blushes as well.

Some numbers:

Single square eyeshadow (which will replace the round ones): 7€
Rainbow shadows: 10€
They have different palettes. You can get one for 3, 4, 5, 10, 20 or even 40 eyeshadows. The ones for 10 products is 10€ and for 5 shadows 7€.
Cream eyeliner: 13€
Pigments: 15€

There will be a pro discount available though I don't have any details yet and an online shop. :-)

This week, from Thursday until Saturday, they have a 10% off offer. So stop by if you find time.

Another cool thing that they did on opening day: If you visited the store between 2 and 3 pm and said a code word, you got a lipstick for free. I mean how freaking amazing is that?

It's a classic red shade and looks amazing. It's lovely pigmented and feels soft and smooth. Here it is:

Swatch:

I don't own many Inglot products (yet). I have three of their cool duocrome glosses and three of the famous, flaky nail polishes. I'm gonna show you some photos and swatches in the next couple of days. :-)

So what do you think? Happy that Inglot arrived? I am. I hope more brands will follow.

Guinevere

B Pretty - Ruby Surprise

Hello lovelies,

Today I have something really pretty for you. A couple of days ago, I was strolling through Bipa looking for Essie's "Don't Sweater It" (of course it was sold out) and saw something truly surprising.

A gorgeous nail polish from b pretty. The ones who know b pretty, know that this brand is not really something you usually look at. At least, I never did, it's rather something kids would buy when first experimenting with make up.

But they do have a LE at the moment with a chrome theme, I'm not a fan of chrome, but I saw this polish and couldn't believe my eyes. Look at that beauty:

Swatches:

Know what I mean? How gorgeous is this shade?

It's called "Ruby Surprise" and is truly amazing. Now the best part, it costs 1,29€. I mean how can you beat that?

What do you think? I think you should definitely buy it if you can. *g*

Trends of Beauty Vienna 2012

I was really excited when I read that there will be a Beauty trade show in Vienna. After all, I've been waiting for years. *gg*

Besides 300 exhibitors, there will be two competitions and several lectures. It sounds great and does remind me of big shows like IMATS, the only catch (and that's a tough one) is that only professionals are allowed.

It's kinda sad, cause I think there is enough potential and many people would love to visit and enjoy the show. On the other hand, it's great for professionals to have a secluded show one can focus on products and equipment.

So, if you are a professional and have time, definitely stop by. I will. :-)

You have to identify yourself with one of these:
  • Membership card of the Wirtschaftskammer
  • Trade Certificate or Education Certificate
  • Confirmation of your employer

To find all the infos such as opening hours and location, visit their website here.

Guinevere
