I'm always excited to see new essie collections and when there are neons involved I tend to jump around. *g*
Essie released six bright/neon shades. :-)
bouncer it's me: vivid blue velvet
bottle service: bright neon pink
dj play that song: jam-iest neon plum
shake your $$ maker: electric green
saturday disco fever: fire coral
boom boom boom: bright party pink
Essie surprised me with the frog green "shake your $$ maker". The shade I was most interested in:
It's "natural" finish is a semi-matte:
I prefer polishes that are shiny, so I used a top coat:
What you see are three coats. It's really pretty, but for a neon it could be brighter. This is more of a frog green. If you use a white polish as a base you can brighten it up though.
I'm gonna get the plum colour as well I think. Once more essie gave us some beautiful colours in a great quality. Nevertheless, those aren't unique shades. I can't wait to see what comes next.
Will you get some?
Love,
Guinevere
