Let's share a moment...

This is not beauty related, but it is something that REALLY freaks me out...

For those who don't know - I study English and German to become a teacher (a back up - cause Austria is crazy small and finding a good job as Make Up Artist is quite hard) and it pisses me off to no end when I have to endure this:

There was NO air in this room after ten minutes.. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem at all with sitting on the floor and all that, but we have to pay fucking 400€ each semester..

Last week I had an exam, an exam - not a plain lecture, and it was so overcrowded that people had to write their exam on the floor and on the windows..

How is this in your country?

Love,
Guinevere

That's one reason why studying Ancient History is awesome, I've only had to sit on the floor in one class, which was then relocated. Other than that one I don't think I've ever been in an overflowing room. On the other hand, I probably won't be able to do anything with AH...

That sounds interesting. I'm sure you will find something :-)

well,on the bright side, it's a lot cheaper here than in other countries (i.e. in the us, where you have to start saving up once the baby isn't even born)

got the same things to, that's why I'm mostly 10-15 minutes early for the crowded lectures to get a place to sit :o

I know, in comparison to the U.S. it's nothing. I was there 20 min before it started gg

I actually went to school in Austria, but I'm from America. Its completely different! I remember when everyone was protesting paying 400 euros a semester, and all us American were thinking thats a bargain lol. Though I must say I have never heard to sit on a floor during class. Though when I was at University in Austria I came close lol.

PS - I have a giveaway going on my blog, nail polish! :) :)

I attended college in the US (california) and this is the norm. Even for Graduate school we could not get the classes we needed. it's frustrating and horrid.. professors would only have class sizes of 12-15 and that was it for grad school.

Yeah it is, but I gotta say I should be grateful in comparison to your situation - you have to pay such a fortune.. 400€ is nothing against that..

Not a norm for me. Always seats in my classes. But they also have a specific then the class gets wait listed.lass size based on the room and . I never had more than 20 in a class besides science labs.

But on the other hand I went to a private college and was paying around $6,000 a semester
