Lately, I've been so overwhelmed with everything that I stopped watching what I put in my body. Not good!

What I always hear is that breakfast is important. Sadly, I rarely find time to eat in the morning, but especially the right cereals can give you the perfect start and energy for your day. So I was told. *g*

I went looking for some healthy cereals, but it was way more difficult than I thought. All the cereals you can buy are full of sugar. After seeing a docu a few weeks ago about the company mymuesli who does custom-mixed cereals I decided to order some from them.

You can mix your own muesli and gosh there are hundreds of possibilites. I decided to go for some already-mixed ones. I ordered the:

Fit For Fun Low Fat Muesli, Kickstart Muesli Woman and the Himbirchler Muesli.

A cool fact when it comes to shipping. You can get them delivered like normal stuff you order or pick it up from a hotspot and save the shipping costs.

In Vienna are two or three hotspots and I got mine from the hotspot Billa at the Ringstraßen Gallerie. This Billa has several of their muesli choices in their permanent range as well.

I've been eating the Kickstart Muesli for a week now and it's really delicious.

Nevertheless, those aren't cheap. One 575g can costs (depending one what you choose) 6,90€ or 7,90€. On the other side it's organic and you know exactly what's inside.

I guess you have to decide for yourself if it's worth it or not. I'm gonna finish mine and look in some health food stores if there are comparable cereals. If not, I will order from mymuesli again. :)

You can buy and mix their mueslis here: or purchase some at their hotspots.

Do you know mymuesli? Have you tried one or even mixed one yourself?

Catrice Liquid Metal Haul & Swatches

I did it *g* I bought the Liquid Metal eyeshadow from the Catrice L'Afrique c'est chic collection I already talked about here.

The picture doesn't show it's full shimmery beauty, but sunlight is scarce at the moment..

Catrice released several Liquid Metal shadows in their new permanent range, but this is definitely the prettiest. I'm gonna do a look with it soon!

Did you buy any of the liquid metal shadows so far? What do you think??

Sally Hansen - Fuzzy Coat

I'm sure most of you have seen them already. The new Fuzzy Coat collection by Sally Hansen. When I first saw them I wanted to buy them all!!

After testing two of them I wasn't so convinced any more. All of them had a horrible smell, really horrible, and weren't that opaque. I don't know what I expected, just something different than just a top coat with coloured stripes.

Did you buy them? They are 8,99€ each.

Oral-B Vitality Haul

I decided to get myself an electric toothbrush. I didn't want to spend too much and ended up getting the Vitality for 29,90€.:-)

So far, I really love it. It's much more "fun" than a normal toothbrush. My teeth feel cleaner as well. :-) My teeth are quite sensitive, so I got the Sensitive Clean heads. Sadly, those heads are super expensive.. This package with four heads cost 15€.

What are you using? Electric or normal?

NOTD Illamasqua

A quick NOTD. At the moment everything is so stressful.. This is the incredible beautiful "Charisma" by Illamasqua. I love it!

Essie Fall Collection

In September, essie's new fall collection will hit the shelves, so it's time for a little heads up. :-)

I love the look of it. A great mix of fall colours. It's still August, so I don't feel very fall-y, but I definitely like the look of those shadows.

essie was so nice and sent me one of them "After School Boy Blazer":

A glossy blackish blue. Nothing unique, but soo pretty. This is one of those timeless classics. :-) Please excuse my cuticles.. They had a very bad day..

The other five shades are amazing as well.

for the twill of it: a maple brown with olive green shimmer
twin sweater set: crimson red
cashmere bathrobe:  a dark grey with silver shimmer
the lace is on: a pink-purple shimmer
vested interest: a dusty green grey

I can't wait until they become available. I need at least four others. *gg* Polishaholic has gorgeous pictures of the LE.

What will you buy? *g*

Sunday, 18 August 2013

It's been quite a while since I did a giveaway for you, so I thought it's time again!

I wanted to buy the Remington Pearl Pro Styler for ages. It was on my Amazon wishlist for almost a year. *g* I finally decided to buy it and while it was wandering to my basket I thought, you might want it too. So I bought two!

And one of them is for you! I only got it yesterday, so I have no review for you yet, but I only heard great things about it. I could have waited, but I was too excited. *g*

How you can win - it's super easy and a little nerdy *g*:

  • Be a follower
  • Leave a comment telling me what super power you would love to have
The giveaway will be open for two weeks (1.9.2013 12 pm Austrian time) and is open worldwide. I can't wait to read your comments. :)

If I could choose I would love to be able to beam around. How cool would it be to be in London or at The Times Square in the blink of an eye..

Today, I have the gorgeous, sparkly MAC "Everything that Glitters" for you.

Sadly, it was limited edition, but it's so beautiful.Especially, in the sun.

Catrice L'Afrique c'est chic Haul

I know this LE has been out for quite a while now, but hauls are always fun to read/look at. :-)

I didn't get the metallic eyeshadows (so far) I'm very tempted to buy the brown one, cause the colour pay off is amazing and the shade itself truly pretty. The other ones didn't convince me that much. Some swatches:

What I did buy were the two blushes/bronzing powders:

Oh là lá, Fresh Demand

Oh lá là blended and seperate, Fresh Demand on the right side seperate and blended

I was a bit disappointed by the colour pay off, it could be better, but the beauty of the blended Oh là là made up for it.

Did you get one of the blushes?

Review: Lemony Flutter

I already talked about it once, but now I bought the full size of the incredible Lemony Flutter by Lush.

This is the best product I've come across when you're fighting dry cuticles or feet. I have horribly dry feet and cuticles, it's a real problem.. I hate it, it just looks so ugly and like you don't take care of yourself.

With this miracle worker my dry areas get smooth and pretty over night. I usually apply it before I go to sleep and when I wake up I'm pretty again.

If you have dry areas definitely check this out, you can use it on your whole body and the lemon scent is lovely as well. If you don't like scented products, this might be too intense for you though. In this case it might be better to get a sample first. :)

Do you own it? Love it as well?

Tangle Teezer and American Food

How exciting - Tangle Teezer is available in Austria!!! Finally, lately we're catching up more and more. As you can see on this empty shelf they are very popular: *gg* I already own two of them, which you can read about here.

Another example to show how we're getting more and more international. This isn't healthy at all!! but from time to time it's still cool to get those international food products.

Doritos are the best nachos in the world and I love the Sprite Zero and the lemon Diet Coke. The special M&M's are awesome as well and they have way better popcorn in the US/UK. Honey also bought Twizzlers, nothing for us to be honest.

We got all that stuff at the Snackshop in the 9. disctrict. I love that store!! You go inside and feel a bit like you're in the UK or US.

It's cool to see these things slowly arriving in Austria. Nevertheless, especially with the food one should be cautious, those are boms when it comes to calories.

Another famous beauty item is now available here as well, but I'll talk about it in one of my next posts. :)

Essence Gel Nails At Home

Essence released a new gel nail system. A complete kit with UV light lamp and everything. I though I show it to you:

I have gel nails and I did them myself for a while and the system is similar, but to be honest - I doubt it is as good as professional products. I think this might me a great home Shellac alternative, but nothing more. At least I wouldn't expect it.

Does any of you own it? My lovely cousin got it, I'll pick her brain about the results she got.

Review: Origins No Puffery Eye Roll On

I love Origins and they just keep making awesome products. One of their latest addition is this handy cooling roll-on for puffy eyes.

What Origins says: "Win the battle of the bags. This incredibly cooling roll on treatment with Yeast Extract instantly helps de-poufs puffs as it brightens dark circles. All while Hoelen Mushroom Extract helps calms skin to keep visible redness from settling in. Ophthalmologist tested."

I've been testing it for two weeks now and I love it. It's refreshing, cooling and moisturizing. I was surprised how moisturizing it is and one only needs tiny amounts of product. I didn't expect the cooling effect to be so amazing to be honest. *gg* You can pimp that even more when you put it in your fridge.

Another something I love about it - we all know that redness and stinging after you tweeze your brows. Most eye products burn if you apply them afterwards. This one doesn't! It cools and calms the eye area. I've been looking for an eye cream that I can use after tweezing without being heavy for ages!

Nevertheless, if you are looking for something more specific, anti-aging for example I would recommend their Plantscription eye cream. I have been using it for months now and love it as well. A review will follow soon.

All in all - another gorgeous products from my beloved Origins company. I just finished my Night-A-Mins face cream, that was a sad night.. *g*

PR-Sample - Thank you guys!

GOSH BB Skin Perfecting Kit

GOSH released some new products and I had some time to kill, so what is better then spending it testing make up.? :)

GOSH released two Skin Perfecting Kits. A light and medium one.

The light kit could be something for me, but for now I have enough highlighters and concealers. *gg*

GOSH Mineral Waterproof Eye Shadow Swatches

I had some time, so I though why not swatch these GOSH shadow pencils for you.

from left to right: 006, 001, 009, 007, 008, 005, 002, 004

I didn't test them on my eyes, but from what I can say they performed as promised. I took a shower with them on my arm and up until the moment when I used my shower gel they didn't move. :-)

Did you try them?
