My Nail Polish Collection part 2

Soooo let's get into the second round.

To my first part, unfortunately, I wish I would, I don't live in the UK, the reason I still have Gosh, Barry M and Collection 2000 polishes is that I travel to Edinburgh and London all the time. I brought them with me from these trips :-)

This is my "big" case full of China Glaze and other large bottles:

In Detail:

OPI:

I have only two full size bottles from OPI: Mod About You and Teal The Cows Come Home

KO Cosmetics:

This brand started the whole Matte polishes hype and that very successful. They have only one polish for every colour, so I'm lazy and won't write the names. *gg*

Nubar:

I don't own many as well, but the ones I own are gorgeous, especially Reclaim, I love it soo much.. Lemon Sorbet, Reclaim, Grass Green Glitter, Wildlife

H&M:

Great Looks, Wicked Purple, Really Black

NYX Girls:

Golden Glitter, Disco Ball, Show Girl, CN243, CN245, CN250,CN237, great ones as well!

China Glaze:

The most polishes I own :-)

Goulish Glow, White-Kwik-Silvr, Celtic Sun, Vintage Crepe, Orange Knockout, Japanese Koi, Ruby Pumps, Innocence, Pink Underground, Second-Hand-Silk, Bad Kitty, Mom's Chiffon, Shocking Pink, Pink Voltage, Purple Panic, Strawberry Fields, Seduce Me, Flying Dragon, Bahamian Escape, For Audrey, Shower Together

Turned Up Turquoise, Calypso Blue, GR8, Recycle, Lubu Heels, Wagon Trail

Some random polishes:

Manhattan polishes, Hot Topic polish, b pretty polishes, Golden Rose polishes, s-he style zone polish

Essence Moonlight Collection:

Sparkling Dawn, Live Forever, Into the Night

Do you like them?
The third part will contain all my treatment polishes so stay tuned.

My Nail Polish Collection part 1

This post is for my dear Paulina, who's always so excited about the polish posts! :-)

I thought I share my Nailpolish Collection with you. I feel stupid to even have to say that, cause it's so obvious to me, but here we go: I don't post this to brag, not at all.
In fact, I know that my collection is small in comparison to others. So let's start.

I'd die to own a nail polish rack, but I just can't find one in Austria. Therefore, I have them in IKEA cases. At the moment there are 3. One for the nail treatments I own, one for all the polishes that are small enough to fit in the second box *g* and the third one is full of the larger bottles like China Glaze, OPI and KO.

Let's start today with the second box. It's my favorite case, I wish they would have a larger version of it for the bigger bottles.

As you can see it is quite see-through, which I like and it holds my Gosh, MAC, Barry M, Mini OPI's, NYX, Illamasqua, Eyeko, Essie, Zoya, Essence, Collection2000, Wet'n Wild and Konad polishes.

And here are close ups:

Gosh:

Rainbow, Yellow Bombay, Sweet Peach, Peachy, Flamingo, Wild Lilac, Gasoline, Golden Dragon, Green Hawaii, Holographic, Golden Bronze, Chocaholic, Nero.

Mac:

Phospor, Something about Pink, Love & Friendship, Illegal Purple, Plasma Blu, Peppermint Patti, Dry Martini, Mercenary, On the Prowl.

Mini Opi's:

I don't know the names of them, they don't stand on the bottles and I bought them some time ago, sorry..

Illamasqua:

Wayward, Whack, Elope, Rampage.

Eyeko:
Saucy Red, Pretty, Pink, Pastel, Vamp, Disco, Nude, Lilac, Purple, Indigo, Cosmic. (add Polish to every name)

In this case I keep all my Konad polishes and also the long Eyeko's.

Barry M:

Matt White, Coral, Bright Red, Red Wine, Turquoise, Acid Yellow, Lime Green, Spring Green

And the rest:

my one Zoya: Midori
my three Wet'n Wild's: Goldmine, Inferno, Jade
my two Collection 2000's: Hoola Hoop, Ninja
my two Essie's: a little one: Great Expectations and the "matte about you" topcoat

Hope you liked that, blinking at you Paulina, and the big case and the treatment case will come next. :-)

Guinevere

Fury Family

I really wanted to post something tonight and I have some things planned, but for each and every one I still need some good pics and it's dark outside and so I have to wait until tomorrow, but hey I decided to post something anyway!

This is not a beauty related post, so just that you are warned. lol

I love pets, I've always loved them and they own a huge part of my heart. Their love and friendship is a treasure I wouldn't want to miss for one day. Okay, enough with the dramatic speech. Long story short, in order to bridge until I have some new footage, I decided to just introduce you to my fury/spiky family members. And to make it super-cute I post a baby pic and a now pic.

I have 1 dog (a belgian sheepdog) called Kronos (named after the greek God), 4 cats (3 Maine Coons and 1 Bengal) named Chloe, Heaven, Amy and Aristoteles and 1 Bartagame. And here are they:
That's Kronos when he was 8 weeks old, sooooo cuddly. And that's how this furball looks now one year later:

On our couch on his dog blanket with his reindeer.

And here my sweet cats:

Chloe:

12 weeks
now with 2,5 years

Heaven:
10 weeks
2 years

and like her pet-mummy she's into make up ;-)

Amy:

14 weeks
2,3 years

Aristoteles:

5 months (that's when we got him)

1,5 years

and our Bartagame:

some weeks
3 years

So that are our fury/spiky family members. I used the word "so" a lot today.. I wish I had better pictures of them, but that was the best I could find. I hope you liked this post even if make up wasn't the topic.

Guinevere

my little MAC Warm & Cozy haul

Lately I'm really trying to be a good girl and buy only stuff I absolutely need and so I look at each MAC collection that comes out very closely as there are a lot as you all know.

Well and since I skipped Love Lace totally and I love Shadesticks, though I don't use them often (bad girl), I pondered about buying those from the Warm & Cozy Collection.

Usually I'm on the MAC counter the first day of release of a new collection. This month I went there on the 15th, which is unbelievable for me. lol. So I looked at each shadestick in detail and also checked out the other items.
I never got hooked by the Mineralize Skinfinishes as so many seem to have, but the "comfort" one was really nice.
So with my hand full of swatches I went home and compared the shadesticks to the others I own and really thought about the Skinfinish. "Comfort" is an awesome shading colour, not so overloaded with shimmer as all the other Mineralize Skinfinishes..

Well and that's what I ended up buying. :-)

Two shadesticks: Relaxed, Cuddle and the Skinfinish "comfort"

Close ups:

I'm really in love with those products, very fallish :-)

And naturally some swatches, sunlight and daylight.

The skinfinish, cuddle and relaxed.

Nice, aren't they?

So what about you, did you get something from that collection? Maybe even the same products? How do you like them? Would love to read your opinions in the comments.

Guinevere

Zoya Renew Project

I wanted to celebrate my 12 followers *gg* and do a post I really wanted to do for some time now. Thanks soo much. I'm so grateful for each and everyone of you!! Just so that you know.

Okay let's start. As you might know by now I'm a real nail polish freak, I probably should have done an own nail polish blog, but whatever. Diversity rules!!

I have several Eyeko polishes and they are quite nice, nevertheless, now the second one dried almost to death, which definitely started to get on my nerves..
So when I ordered some polishes on ebay I bought some Zoya nail polishes, among other things I got some of their "lock down" polishes and the new "renew polish rejunevator" just out of curiousity, cause at that time I didn't know my eyeko polish dried.

So I thought let's try it! Now to the pictures, the highlight of every post. *g*

That's how the polish looked like, killing isn't it??

That's how it should look like!!

And that's how the renew polish looks like.

Okay, so what you need to reanimate your polish is:

The dead polish, the rejuvenator and a tiny stick to agitate the polish after you put the renew drops in it and that's about it. Simple, right?

So I started out with one full pump and built it up, in the end I put 17 pumps in the polish, sounds much, but it was just right. It depends on the thickness of your old polish, so just start small.

And that was the end result, a perfect polish, better than new. It never was so good than after that treatment. I can't recommend it highly enough!!! It's sooo awesome. So if you have some polishes that start to get sticky and viscous, buy that and you can save all your little darlings.

I hope this post was useful and you all stay tuned for future posts.

Love,
Guinevere
