Look by Bipa's New Brushes!!

When I strolled around my favorite Bipa store I saw these:

Two new brushes by the Look by Bipa brush range! In the awesome pink and white design. Let's take a look:

Stippling Brush

Blender Brush:

Front and center:

Stippling Brush: As you all can see this is no stippling brush. A stippling brush is much more packed and denser. I would say it's a soft powder brush and it does a very good job.

Blender Brush: This is a blending brush and a nice one. It works lovely without being harsh.

I absolutely love them. The only drawbacks were a horrible plastic smell which clearly came from the packaging and the design of the packaging also pressed them in a flat shape. They really should overthink that..

But no worries, as soon as you wash them the smell is gone. After the brushes are out for a while the shape gets normal as well. The performance is great.

My absolute favorite is the Blender brush, it's great and exactly what was missing in their collection. I posted already about the other Bipa brushes here, but the pictures all went to hell when I had this horrible disaster with my picasa web albums.. :(

If you want a new review/pictures of their other brushes let me know.

Haul The Second: Essie Fall Collection

Essie's latest collection is now available in stores and even though I really wanted to be good I ended up buying all shades except for the red one and the blue I already own and talked about here.

Let's take a look:

MAC Antonio Lopez Promo Night

Last week was the preview night of the new Antonio Lopez collection by MAC. It's exclusively available at Steffl in the first district.

I had the luck to take some picture before hell broke loose. ;-) Here we go:

The sets are really tiny, especially for the prizes, so I decided to be a good girl and not buy anything.

Another thing I found truly disturbing were the promo girls. You know, the ones that are wearing the looks and you can take pictures with. They were cleary anorexic. Bones everywhere. It was shocking.

I tend to pay more attention to that than other people since I struggled with anorexia myself when I was a teenager. It is a serious illness and I'm always disappointed in companies that "support" such body images by booking them. It's just not right.

I left before the preview night began. Don't try to look like them, it can easily make you infertile or even kill you.

Clarisonic arrived in Vienna!!

We're really catching up lately!

After years of being available all over the world, the famous Clarisonic is now available in Austria. Exclusively at Douglas. I was at the Viennese flagship store and took some photos for you. :)

There are two versions available. The Mia 2 and the Plus which has additionally to the face brush a body brush

What I love is that they have all the brush heads:

I own the Clarisonic Mia. I posted twice about it after I got it *here*, which was in January 2010. How time flies by.. After more than three years it still works like it's brand new! If you're interested in an updated review, let me know!

The Clarisonic is an amazing product that can truly improve your complexion. The prize is steep though. The Mia 2 costs 149€ and the Plus costs 225€. Not a bargain, but it will last you forever. I can vouch for that.

I'm really happy we finally have it, especially the brush heads. :-)

Do you own a Clarisonic? Will you get one?

Review: Burgit Footcare Anti-Callus Gel

Especially, in summer having pretty feet is important. Sadly, mine are constantly a mess.. I have really dry feet and a constant issue with calluses. I hate it, so I try what I can to reduce those problem areas.

Burgit just released a new anti-callus gel that's supposed to dissolve hard skin in just 10 minutes. After that you can scrape off the excess skin. - At least that is what they advertise on the packaging.

I'll keep it short - it doesn't work at all.. Let's take a look at it and go into more detail:

I was sooo hopeful, but it just doesn't do anything. On top of that it's really aggressive and harsh. I had a small cut on my heel and it burned like crazy. I didn't even try it on my cuticles. Too risky..

So, long story short, don't buy it. It's a complete waste of money. :-( Better invest your money in a good pedicure.

Do you have a holy grail product that makes your feet pretty?

Glossybox Sunkissed

Well, this comes really late, but it's all her fault:

My parents dog, which I had for 14 days now. Don't let her cuteness fool you.. I love her, but she's a pain in the a**.

Now on to prettier things. The current Glossybox.

Full of amazing summer items:

from left to right:
got2b Oh-la-la argain oil styling spray, The Body Shop Natural Lip Roll On Orange, Anatomicals Facial Spritz, Clarins Rouge Eclat in Woodrose, Jelly Pong Pong 2-in-1 eyeliner & shadow:

The Facial Spritz from Anatomicals smells lovely and is perfect for summer. I always forget to take them with me though.. *g*

The Roll-On in Orange from The Body Shop feels really comfortable and non-sticky. It's great for a fresh, but still sublte glossy look that moisturizes as well. Nevertheless, it doesn't last long on my lips.

Now let's take a closer look at that pretty lipstick by Clarins:

I haven't tried it so far, but here's a swatch of the Jelly Pong Pong eyeliner:

I'm truly excited about got2b styling spray, I wanted to buy it for ages. I'll review it soon.

Besides the box, there was the Glossy magazine and a Zalando and Bobbi Brown voucher. :)

I think it's safe to say this is one gorgeous Glossybox. Lately, they always pack their boxes with cool stuff. :-) I can't wait to get the next one.

Review: Maybelline Jade Big Eyes Mascara

I'm a fan of short and simple reviews. So here is another one: Maybelline released a new mascara and it's one gorgeous product!

It has two side, one for the upper lashes and one for the lower ones.

Upper Lasher:

Lower Lashes:

Let's check out the results:

I think the pictures say it all. It's an awesome mascara that seperates, lenghtens and lasts all day. I'm a real fan! :-)

By the way, today is your last chance to win a Remington styler! :-) Just click on the link on the right-hand side.
