Today it's review time again. :-)
I bought the MAC Prep & Prime Fortified Skin Enhancer for neutralizing a couple of months ago. *click* So what are my thoughts on it?
Long story short: I like it, but not enough to buy it again. *gg* Let's go a little bit more into detail.
It has a handy and precise applicator:
The first time I used it, it was a disaster. I thought "It's a primer, let's keep it simple" so I put it all over my face, expecting it to do it's job where needed and even out the rest of the face. Major misinterpretation! *gg* My face had a very sickly looking green tint for the rest of the day..
Gosh, I was annoyed.. The next time I really concentrated on the red parts of my face and guess what, it worked quite well. See for yourself (specially for this post my cheek decided to get a red spot):
Definitely a difference.
Now the big drawback: it's utterly expensive.. 29,50€ for a primer that you can't even use all over your face is much, really much.
Originally, I only bought it cause a friend of mine started working for MAC and she kept raving on about it and that I need to try it - bla bla bla *gg* and I wanted to be a good friend and support her in her new job and since MAC wants each saleswoman to sell three products per customer, I got at least one.
In a nutshell: I'm happy to have it and if it would be cheaper I certainly would buy it again, but as nice as it is, it doesn't cancel out everything and a normal (good quality) concealer can get rid of that redness problem just as well.
I also filmed a review: *click*
Hope this was helpful.
